Connecticut Has Announced that All State Residents Are Now Eligible To Receive The 2009 H1N1 Vaccine

The Chesprocott Health District recommends that all District residents consider getting vaccinated if they have not yet been. This vaccine is available to you free of charge.
Chesprocott Health District is currently scheduling appointments and is also scheduling additional H1N1 Vaccine clinics as demand is assessed. Please call (203) 272-2761 for further information.
CLINIC INFORMATION
Additional open clinics for all Chesprocott Health District residents over 6 months of age have been scheduled on the following dates:
Date: Saturday, January 9, 2010
Location: Cheshire Youth Center, 525 South Main St., Cheshire, CT (next to Cheshire H.S.)
Time: 11:00 am to 2:30 pm
Date: Sunday, January 10, 2010
Location: Prospect Fire House, 26 New Haven Rd., Prospect, CT
Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Date: Thursday, January 14, 2010
Location: Tyrrell Middle School, 500 Todd Rd., Wolcott, CT ( In the Cafeteria - North Entrance)
Time: 4:30 pm to 7: 30 pm
Director of Health Thomas J. Wegrzyn advises residents that although there have been a decreasing number of ill persons reported throughout Connecticut, complacency is a major concern. We are not yet out of the woods, and there may still be another wave of infection. Being vaccinated will afford you with the best available protection against this virus.
